On THE 17th of May 2017, a presence left this world!
A nightingale voice went still!
A place became vacant!
A great blow befell loved ones!
The shock was severe!
Mrs. Ifeyinwa Sussana (Okeke) Morris, a cherished daughter of the Okeke of Otolo Nnewi village in Anambra State, is Gone! At a time like this, one gets so confused as whether to accept this painful exit or not – I guess we have no choice – since the decision is God’s.
Have you ever met a woman who wakes up in the morning and tells herself that “this day has to be lived fully”?
That is Iffy for you!!
Have you ever met someone who narrates a worrisome situation like she was telling folktales – spicing it with jokes?
That is Iffy for you!!
Have you ever met someone who has no dull moment in her life?
That is Iffy for you!!
Now we ask, why shouldn’t people like this live up to a hundred and twenty years? This is definitely beyond us!! What could have happened within so short a time? This is sad!! The all-knowing God who took you away at this time will know how best to console the loved ones you left behind.
To her dear husband Pat Morris and children we say Ndoo.
To her beloved sister Ebele and brother Chuka we say Dibe!
Iffy, we know that blessed are the good spirited – for they shall see God – therefore You shall see God. When those who made a mark on the sand of time will be remembered – you shall not be forgotten.
